Enantiomers

True individualism: what does that mean?
Stare into a glass window,
See the reflection stare back.
The same face with the same eyes.

Chemical compounds comprised
Of the same molecules:
Carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen.
Indistinguishable on paper.

Twist the mirror.
The reflection is identical, but different.
Examine the compound in space—
A thirty degree variation that redefines.

The surface presents a false expectation—
Beware.
True individualism lies subatomically—
Unobserved, undisturbed, unquenchable.
